Ingredients

  • 900g Brussels Sprouts.
  • 25g Butter
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper

Buttered Brussels Sprouts Recipe

serves: 8
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 5-6 minutes

Method

  1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts by removing the outer leaves. Trim the base and cut a cross in the base of each sprout if you wish.
  2. Cook in boiling salted water for 5-6 minutes, depending on the size, until just cooked – don’t overcook.
  3. Drain, toss in butter, season with salt and pepper, serve immediately.
