Key Tasks

• Visit retail customers to conduct retail audits, ensuring range implementation and proper stock levels are maintained and ensure our displays are impactful in each store.
• Liaise with retail staff on how best to increase sales.
• Project management and delivery of campaigns to agreed objectives, deadlines and budget.
• Execute in store tastings and promotional campaigns to boost sales columns.
• Advise consumers on product attributes and cooking methods.
• Identify new areas of opportunity for developing business.
• Development and support across digital & social media.
• Competitor and customer insights analysis.
• Assisting with the coordination of point-of-sale materials & trade shows.

Requirements

• Retail Marketing/Business degree or key experience in a similar role heretofore.
• Required to achieve sales targets through calling on designated customers and selling/merchandising our full range of products.
• Fluent in English.
• Effective communication with both company employees and customers is critical to success.
• Knowledge of Fresh Produce would be an advantage.
• Retail or merchandising experience at the store level is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, multi-task and problem solve are essential.
• Full clean Class B Driving Licence.
• Prepared to travel nationwide with overnight stays as part of the contract where necessary.
• Willingness to deliver stock and lift weights will also be a requirement for this position.

K & K Produce are one of the country’s largest packers of potatoes and fresh produce in Ireland and wish to hire Production Operatives to join our existing team. Based on the N2 between Finglas and Ashbourne (N2 – 103 bus) candidates must be available to work Monday to Saturday including Bank Holidays as per roster. Production Operatives will report to Production Managers and will be designated to work on Potato or Fresh Produce Packing Lines. All operatives will receive training and will work as part of a production line team.

Duties will include:

• Assembly of product for production
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
• Reporting and addressing product quality
• Grading, sorting and packing product on automated packing lines
• Completion of all designated packing line documentation
• Assembly of completed product on pallets
• Accurate labelling of product for onward dispatch
• Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping
• Adherence to Food Hygiene HACCP and Health & Safety guidelines

Duties include:

• Downloading and compiling computerised orders for pallet configuration
• Labelling and picking high volume supermarket orders daily
• Ensuring all Product and Paperwork is checked completed and signed off
• Ensuring all Goods Dispatched meet customer requirements.
• Knowledge of Traceability Coding and Labelling requirements an advantage.
• Ensuring dispatch area is maintained to a high standard

Essential:

• Experienced fork lift driver
• Computer literate
• Fluent English
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience in similar role an advantage

This is an ideal role for an individual who is already currently working in Sales/Merchandising or is interested to start their career in a sales/merchandising environment and is looking for the opportunity to work for a family-owned business who specialise in growing, producing and sourcing fresh potatoes, fruit and vegetables in Ireland. We serve a wide range of customers including supermarkets, symbol groups, the food service industry, and independent retailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for activating a portfolio of stores with point of sales material and ensuring that we have maximum displays and maximum distribution of our brands in stores.
