This is an ideal role for an individual who is already currently working in Sales/Merchandising or is interested to start their career in a sales/merchandising environment and is looking for the opportunity to work for a family-owned business who specialise in growing, producing and sourcing fresh potatoes, fruit and vegetables in Ireland. We serve a wide range of customers including supermarkets, symbol groups, the food service industry, and independent retailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for activating a portfolio of stores with point of sales material and ensuring that we have maximum displays and maximum distribution of our brands in stores.

Key tasks

  • Proactively influence display placements and ensure our displays are impactful
  • Required to achieve sales targets through calling on designated customers and selling/merchandising our full range of products
  • Ensure stock is rotated effectively and that high attention to detail is implemented across all stores
  • Identify new areas of opportunity for developing business
  • Project management and delivery of campaigns to agreed objectives, deadlines and budget.
  • Development and support across digital & social media
  • Competitor and customer insights analysis
  • Assisting with the coordination of point-of-sale materials & trade shows

Key Attributes:

  • Marketing / social media experience an advantage
  • Proactive and independent individual with passion and drive
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Able to build effective customer relationships and proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Highly energetic, enthusiastic and creative
  • Full, unrestricted driving license, ability to work flexibly if required across the country
  • Experience in creative digital marketing and Social Media campaigns

General IT skills with proficiency in word, excel and PowerPoint
